Give Thanks
I want to take a moment and thank God for what He has done for me in my life and during my journey through breast cancer. As Philippians 4:7 says, I had "the peace that surpassed all my understanding." Our Father is faithful. I think a reason why Psalm 23 is so popular is because in six verses it gives God's promises to His children, promises that brings so much peace. God's peace giving is good medicine. Where would we be in this world without the peace of God?
Please take a few moments of your time today and simply tell God, "Thank you, for Your peace". While you are at it, thank Him for His grace and mercy too.
When I find myself reflecting on the times that God gave me peace and rested my soul, I become sentimental and I hear the songs that He used to minister to me. One in particular is, In the Midst of It All by gospel artist Yolanda Adams. I would like to share that song with you.
