God Gives Me Strength
Today at my local gym there was a two hour dance fitness party for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Of course I had to be there. As I worked out I realized that I had a ways to go to get back in shape. With the way I was feeling after the first thirty minutes, it seemed almost impossible. Then I reminded myself that God will give me the strength. I just need to show up.
"He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might he increases strength." Isaiah 40:29
If I am in need of anything now it is strength. I trust that God will deliver, just as He has through out this journey. Being healthy is very important for a cancer survivor and also for everybody else. If you have health challenges and mountains to climb that seem impossible, remember that God is faithful, God is able and God will give you the strength. He will be there at the right time.
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
Your effort and God's strength will equal your success. You must take the steps and meet God at the foot of the mountain. Then watch God work miracles in your life.
