God gives us big dreams. So big they go beyond our imagination. So big we feel overwhelmed. So big that we never get there, we never see them manifest. They freeze us in a place of feeling incapable, ill equipped, not able to accomplish them. That is if we don't believe that the God we serve is able.
When I look at the 14 panel piece of art work above, it is big and I think about the time it took to create it. I didn't just appear as this, it had to be made, step by step. As a painter, one of my dreams is to visit the Sistine Chapel and see for myself the massive work of artist Michelangelo. Over 500 years old and people still look at it in amazement. God has amazing things to do through and for you and me.
It does not matter how big the dreams, set it as a goal and take the first step. Watch God do His work. What are your goals in life, what is it that God has assigned you to do, what do you dream about? Don't dismiss your dreams. Everyday God is saying...
The third thing I have learned in this journey, is something that I already know, God is able. Now, that knowledge is being stretch to higher and greater limits. I try not to focus on the big picture, but I take steps forward everyday trusting and waiting in anticipation of God fulfilling all of my dreams.
"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us," Ephesians 3:20
